Sonia Percival

Sonia has come to the art of making later in her career. After working in a wealth of roles across environmental, education and community professions. Sonia now combines these diverse experiences to help others bring ideas and projects to fruition; to design and make inspiring pieces of work that enhance personal development and community spaces.

Sonia works in different materials but is particularly drawn to multi-media textiles where small fragments (fabric, buttons, paper, photos, natural materials), often colourful, come together to make a whole texture board.

Sonia has worked for Learning through Landscapes, the school grounds charity, for 5 years and can bring this professional discipline to your project; helping the whole school community find solutions to its needs in their outdoor spaces.
